• Authentic Indian Food

  Having travelled extensively on the sub continent and experienced all types of Indian and Nepalese food i can honestly say that the food served at the Maharahah is at the top end of the scale for authenic taste and quality. The service is perfect, attentive but not intrusive. The menu selection should suit every taste and the staff will customise the menu to account for those with sensitive palates. Highly recommended for all curry affectionardos.

• A Hidden Gem

  Having come for the weekend to this quant little village i didnt expect to see an Indian restaurant. We were staying at a nearby hotel but the dinner service there was very expensive so we opted for a takeaway from The Maharajah. The food was reasonably priced and you certainly got alot for your money in terms of portions! We come from London and the food we had here was of far better quality than anything ive had there. The lamb was soft and bursting with spices and flavour , we greedily consumed the lot and were more sad that we didnt actually eat IN the restaurant which was full of friendly and very helpful staff!I would recommend this to anyone who likes Indian food its without a doubt one of the best ive ever eaten at and we will definately return again one day. 5/5
