• New and second hand furniture and clothing

  After moving to the local area, I was out exploring the town (Calne), and came across this amazing little shop. On first glance it looked like an expensive upmarket boutique. However, on closer inspection, it was a great little Aladdins cave full of all sorts of things! The lady that runs the shop is very friendly, and she explained that the goods in the shop are both new and second hand, and she only accepts goods that are in excellent condition. And good quality clothing is accepted, but it is seasonal. Everything in the shop is sold on a commision, so if you have some furniture or good quality clothing, jewellery, bags etc, you can take them down to her, and let her know the price you would like, and she displays them in her shop, she adds a little commision to the price, and then if it sells you get the money, and if after 3 months your furniture doesn't sell you take it back, if you don't sell it, there's no fees (clothes are kept for 6 weeks). If you are after some furniture for your home, it is well worth taking a look, you can get very very high quality items at a complete bargain price. I'll be going back regularly to get out the new stock, but the really good furniture does sell almost as soon as it's brought in, so you need to keep on your toes. The store is open tuesdays, thursdays, fridays and staturdays from 10am. I would highly recommend this store to anyone venturing into the area, even if your not looking for second hand goods, as the new things are just as beautiful.
