Hi, We bought 2 vouchers for my boyfriend's Birthday. After 3 attempts we also had our flight. But we were lucky. ))) There were people, who were trying to get flight for 2 years, 1 year or so. The good things are: - The capitan and the helper was really professional and friendly - The flight experience itself was very very nice. It was one of these amazing special momnets. - You can extend you voucher for the next year fot £50 per head The cons are: - Company should really worn people on the web site, that it is not going to happen from 1 attempt only, mostly becaus of the English weather. You flight is going to be cancelled if there are slight changes in weather: rainy, cloudy, wind, temperature. - The flying season is from 1st March to 31st October. You better try to book flight asap as you got your voucher , because it will take time. Summer is the best season, when there are plenty of dry, not windy days. Remember: 1) " If you are taking a flight with your voucher you must contact the Flight Provider within 3 months of the purchase date shown on the Flight Voucher quoting the booking number on the Flight Voucher to make a first booking. The Flight must be booked for a date within 6 months of the purchase date. If you do not contact the Flight Provider and do not take your Flight within the validity period, the Flight Voucher will expire and you will lose the right to a Flight or to obtain any of our other goods or services. Unless you hold a Premier Flight Voucher the Flight Provider will not make any refund where the Voucher holder has not complied with this clause." 2)Extensions - If the Flight Provider has postponed your Flight on eight or more occasions and the Flight Voucher then remains valid for a period of less than two months, the Flight Provider will extend the validity period of the Voucher to include the next three months of the flying season (which is 1st March to 31st October). If this extends the validity of the Voucher into the flying season of the following year the Voucher will also be valid for the intervening months. The flight provider may reduce the number of qualifying attempts at its absolute discretion in the event of environmental issues which may limit the opportunity of voucher holders to make attempts in any given period. 3)10.1.2 Refunds of the cost of the Flight Voucher will be based on the number of attempts you have made to fly within the 12 month validity period as follows; 0-3 attempts no refund%u2028 4-6 attempts 25% refundable%u2028 7-8 attempts 50% refundable%u2028 over 8 attempts 75% refundable or a Voucher Extension (subject to agreement by the Flight Provider) %u202810.2 Refusing to accept dates offered by the Flight Provider will not constitute attempts to fly. Where to begin? Had huge problems with this company - tried a reasoned approach to no avail. Made a complaint to them and were fobbed off, now made a complaint in frustration on a "name & shame" website as a last resort. Not at all happy and would not recommend using this company. Hope if you do use them that you have a better experience!
Hi, I bought 2 vouchers from Camerons, and after 3 attempts at flying we had our flight. We originally booked for Fareham, but because of the wind direction we got moved to West Meon. 3 Balloons took off from this site.. What a bonus! My 80yr old mum came with me and was looked after by the crew and pilot who were extremely professional. Once we landed and had a glass of champagne a luxury bus picked us all up and took us back to the launch site. Over all I found the staff very friendly and sympathetic to me and my mothers needs.
