The Principal, Miss Kate, coaches the children from pre-school right through to the end of secondary school, after which some go on to further education and careers in the performing arts.
Services Offered:The school offers tuition in Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz Dance, and accredited examinations are offered in all disciplines (not compulsory). Dance and art/craft days/weeks are available during school holidays, where the pupils learn new dance disciplines as well as arts, crafts and grooming. Entry is also available for competitive dance festivals in the region, including novice categories for new and inexperienced dancers. For festivals, dancers can choose to learn other dance disciplines including National, Character, Classical Greek and Song & Dance; and individual tuition is available for these. Musical Theatre classes on Saturday mornings lead to graded examinations. The school is in St Bartholomews Church Hall, Wootton Bassett, near Swindon, North Wiltshire, England. The hall is light and airy with a quality wooden parque floor, ideal for dancing. Participation in the school's highly successful 'Let's Dance' shows is encouraged. I send three of my daughters to this dance school; and the teaching is excellent. The oldest only started when she was 10; and with one lesson a week, by age 14 she is doing grade 5 ballet and has passed silver medal Jazz. I think that speaks for itself.
