The Old Bank Brasserie is a contemporary bar and brasserie serving modern British cuisine in a relaxed and stylish setting.

Myself and my wife visited the Old Bank for a birthday meal the other week. I can’t believe I hadn’t been there before. The staff were so polite and helpful. The food was great and at the very good price, considering the high place décor and atmoshphere.. I would recommend them to anyone. They have a interactive menu online, I urge you take a look: www.tobb.co.uk
Me, my Wife & another couple went early one night & were, at the time, the only people eating. However three members of staff stood around doing nothing, they were chatting to each other as if they were on out enjoying themselves & we continually asked for service. The food itself was nice, although the portions are very small and not worth the price. The waitress also wobbled the pudding plate which resulted in a mess as it was placed on the table. This place is okay for cocktails but not much else. There are two more floors above the restaurant with bars. It would be better for a night out drinking than eating.
The Old Bank is a trendy place to have a drink or meal. The decor is modern yet cosy. They have regular live music nights too. The food is your standard bar food- salads, burgers, steaks etc. However you can tell the food is homemade- try the cod burger, its very nice! Service is swift and hassle free. Prices are reasonable too. I will definetly be going back.
