My daughter has always been extremley shy and has struggled with her school work as she was unwilling to try anything new for fear of failure. Her teachers reported that she did not join in with group work and would not speak in front of others. Initially, to give her another interest, I enrolled her in Tanwood and the change in her life has been amazing. Through the fantastic team spirit and encouragement of teachers and pupils, Jessie has florished. She has the confidence to stand up, on her own in front of a large audience. She knows she can overcome her fear, and have a go, without the fear of losing. She has been taught that you do your best, sometimes you win, sometimes you don't, but its the taking part that counts. As a result, her school work has improved beyond all expectations. Thank you to Polly-Ann, Miss Denise and all at Tanwood, you have made a real difference.
