Nice place! HORRID, Mean, Rude & Petty ‘Hosts'
Went to Re-book for June and our booking was declined along with a nasty message from the ‘Superhost’ Patricia as follows… ‘We should have said upfront after your rental that due to the general untidyness you left the cottage we are not comfortable accepting future bookings from you. You left the floors downstairs and the first floor landing and main bedroom floor with some crumbs, which looked like broken crisps or similar snacks. Also a piece of chewing gum was found stuck to the lounge wall directly above the 2 seater lounge sofa.’ MY response: - I have absolutely no idea where the 'gum' could have come from. That's certainly not our M.O! As for there being ‘a few crisp crumbs on the floor that likely was I didn't realize it was our responsibility to Spring Clean the house behind us! Isn't that what the cleaning and SERVICE FEE is for? Do YOU vacuum before checking out when you stay in a hotel? A few tiny crisp crumbs & we are banned? Seriously?! Mean, Petty, RUDE!! Avoid!
